Used Sperry 30” plate and frame filter press with approximately 134 Sq ft. filtering area, 11.2 cu ft. cake capacity. Unit consists of 9 plates, 2 head plates, and 10 frames made of 316 S/S. Also contains 1 dummy plate made of cast iron. Each of the 10 framed chambers is 2” thick. Pneumatic powered hydraulic closing unit consumes 5.5 SCFM @ 80 psig while closing, working pressure 2800 psig. Plate types (4) #47 steam HTD, (5) #49 steam HTD, (1) #47 steam HTD head plate, and (1) #49 steam HTD head plate. Design parameters: 100 psig @ 250 o F. Dimensions: 56” high x 11’ long.
